Description - Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Following a $1 billion renovation and expansion project, Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a magnificent blend of Miami's glamorous golden era and stylish, modern luxury. Fronting the Atlantic Ocean, the resort's most distinguishing features will include an oceanfront poolscape featuring a free-form pool shaped as a re-interpretation of the hotel's original signature bow-tie design, an interactive children's waterscape play area including a waterslide, spray canopy, water canons and 18-inch deep wading pool (opening in January), and 11 restaurants and lounges. The 5,800 square foot gym facility overlooks the freeform bow-tie pool, the Ocean Lawn and the Atlantic Ocean. The 40,000 square foot, two-level Lapis Spa, opening in December 2008, will feature 30 private treatment rooms as well as a co-ed jetted pool and lounge area.
Fontainebleau Miami Beach is the hub of trendsetting, high-energy nightlife. The chic LIV nightclub offers an eclectic mix of entertainment in a sleek, stylish environment. Neighboring sushi bar, Blade, is a glamorous place to join friends for a cool cocktail. Additional bars and lounges include dazzling Bleau Bar in the hotel lobby and Glow, a casual yet sophisticated pool bar with intimate ambiance of a private pool club.
The resort now features a total of 6 pools surrounded by private cabanas each offering personalized services, a 32-inch flat-screen television, wireless internet access, butler service, mini refrigerator, phone with data connection and a digital safe that can accommodate a laptop.
